Shaping a new creative precinct in our (work) hometown

Thrilled to announce we’ve been appointed with our designer partner Architectus to work with Maribyrnong City Council on the Creative West project, along with GLAS Urban, LCI and our mates Susu Studio.

Footscray Library, a site right behind our studio, will be transformed into an inspiring performing arts venue, world-class library, and much-needed new green space in the form of a town park. We’re beyond excited to do the work we love to do: engaging with community and embedding their needs, dreams and desires into the public realm – and in a place we’re embedded within ourselves.

This phase of the project has received $5 million from the Australian Government under the urban Precincts and Partnerships Program. This grant has been matched by Council and will complete planning and detailed design for Creative West.
